I do believe that Brutus and julius Caesar are quite similar, here are my reasons why.

To start off I think they both show acts of hubris in their behaviour. One hubris quote from Caesar was that ” the idea of March are come.” This means that it has reached the middle of March and nothing has happened to him. The soothsayer said that something would happen to him but because it hasn’t happened straight away he thinks that he was safe. He was quite mistaken. Another quote that Julia’s Caesar said was ” my senate.” This means that he has possession of the senate. In the play the character that is meant to be playing julius Caesar would have to put an emphasis on the word ” my ” to get the point across that he runs things and that he owns the senate. The last quote for his para graph is ” he is a dreamer, let us leave him.” This means that he thinks the soothsayer   Is lying about the idea of March. He thinks that he is talking rubbish and malarchy. He did not believe him when he said ” beware the idea of March.” He should have beloved him when he told him to be careful.
