A reason why that they are different is because Brutus is a noble man, and Julias Caesar is an arrogant and ambitious man. Brutus said he slayed Caesar for the greater good of Rome as he was ambitious. He was basically saying in theoretical terms that he was trying to get to the top of everyone and be a dominant alpha male, but Brutus sees this as ambition. He also steps on top of other people like their a step on a step ladder. Although Julias Caesar did help Rome win wars and get stuff that was a front and was not who he really was. A common mistake that some people make is that they think that Julias Caesar was King which is untrue, he was about to be elected King, but Brutus slayed him. Another reason why Julias Caesar and Marcus Brutus completely contrast each other is because one of them are loyal, and the other one isn’t. Brutus slayed his best friend and betrayed him. Although Julias Caesar was ambitious he was going to give his best friend Brutus power, and quite a lot of money. This in some ways shows that he Julias Caesar would have been a much much better leader than ” honourable ” Brutus. If Caesar acted like he did to Brutus then he probably could have been a great leader. A reason to go back on my own point is that Brutus talked to his slave politely and called him by his first name, and most importantly gave him respect. Whereas Caesar on the other hand called his slave “slave” and treated him like dirt, with no respect.
